Afruibana elects a new Executive Board
8 July 2025Dear members and friends,
As we enter a new year, we would like to share a simple message with you: thank you!
2025 has been a demanding year — for our professions, our territories and our shared commitments. In the face of evolving market expectations, sustainability challenges and sometimes difficult circumstances, you have remained committed, adaptable and united.
Throughout the year, Afruibana has continued its work in support of fair market conditions for African producers, decent work, and the advancement of living wages through social dialogue. We have also contributed to international discussions on responsible purchasing practices and on accelerating the transition towards even more sustainable agricultural systems, so that the efforts of the entire value chain may be better recognised. Finally, we have continued our engagement on the issues of corporate due diligence and shared responsibility.
Above all, three things stand out from 2025: resilience, initiative and solidarity.
As we look ahead to 2026, we have confidence in the strength of our collective — a more united sector, a clearer shared voice, and stronger partnerships to help build a fair and sustainable future.
We wish you a very happy and fulfilling New Year. May 2026 bring you energy, clarity and shared success.
We look forward to continuing this work together in the year ahead.
With warm regards,
George KPORYE
The President
